Across Arrow
An across arrow is intended to traverse one or more rows. When you add or edit an across arrow, you set the following options:
Arrow Placement From row
Arrow features
Label Select whether to Show a label, its font and Background color (if not Transparent). A label can be centered (anchored) along 3 points in an arrow: Begin, middle and end, and then be aligned along 5 positions relative to the anchor point: Above, center, below, left and right, with further pixel-level adjustments with Offset. Offset sign follows the directions of the X/Y axis (i.e. positive horizontal offset is to the right, and positive vertical offset is downward). A label can be rotated around its middle by +-90 degrees. Only text using a True Type font can be rotated. |
Superscript/Subscript
Label text can include superscript and subscript portions, e.g.: a""n"" and t..RC.. Superscript text is surrounded by a pair of quotation marks, and subscript text is surrounded by a pair of dots. Copy/Paste an arrow
To copy an arrow: 1. In the arrow management dialog, click on the tab of the arrow you wish to copy. This will select the arrow and show its information. 2. Press the Copy button. This will copy the arrow onto the clipboard. To paste an arrow: After you have copied an arrow, - You can paste that arrow into the same row it came from, by pressing the Paste button. This has the same effect as pressing the Duplicate button. - Or more interestingly, to paste the arrow into a different row, either in the same diagram or in another diagram, open the destination row's arrow management dialog, and press the Paste button there. The copy/paste operation uses the computer's clipboard to store the copied arrow. |
